Fire Prevention
Fire prevention is, of course, a major concern of your management. We strongly urge you to make regular inspection of your apartment for fire hazards such as overloaded wall outlets, accumulation of newspapers or magazines, etc.
- No grills are permitted. Community grills provided in the pool area during the season.
- Do not store anything flammable in the apartment, garage, and storage facilities, under the stairs or in the breezeways. The storage of kerosene, gasoline, or other flammable or explosive agents is strictly prohibited.
- Please stay in your kitchen when frying foods, or cooking range top.
- Refrain from smoking in bed and check for lit cigarettes before retiring to bed.
- Please do not leave candles unattended. Any damage to your apartment due to candle wax or soot will be deducted from your security damage.
Smoke Detectors
Please check your smoke detector monthly to make sure that it is working properly. Pressing the test button on the detector can do this. If the smoke detector does not alarm, then please contact the office immediately. If at any time your smoke detector chirps, this is an indication that the back-up battery needs to be replaced. Please contact the office immediately.
At no time should the smoke detector be tampered with or disarmed.
